Public Transportation

Jacksonville has a well developed bus system, a Skyway rail system on both sides of the St. Johns River downtown, and free trolley lines both downtown and at Jacksonville Beach. Information, schedules, and trip planners can be found at The free Bay and Beaver Street trolleys serve downtown Jacksonville and run approximately every 15 minutes, 6 am through 7 pm. The Bay street trolley can take you to most restaurants and venues in downtown Jacksonville, and can carry you nearly the entire way from the Hyatt to the Landings, a major aggregation of restaurants and shops that is likely to be popular at this meeting. For travel to the beaches, regular bus service can take you there, and a free trolley service runs up and down the streets behind Jacksonville Beach. Please consult the bus schedules before you go – know where you are going, when, and how much it costs.
